RIMI LOGISTIC CENTER, RIGA

RIMI BALTIC HAS OPENED A NEW LOGISTICS CENTER IN RIGA, AT A.DEGLAVA STREET 161. IT IS NOT ONLY ONE OF THE MAIN INVESTMENT PROJECTS OF THE COMPANY IN THE BALTIC STATES, BUT ALSO IS THE LARGEST AND MOST MODERN LOGISTICS CENTER.

When choosing equipment for the project, the primary focus was on improving everyday life of the employees. The floor of the logistics centre is made according to world’s best practices, with taking in close consideration the safety of their employees.
The technical equipment at the logistics center was chosen to be innovative and environmentally friendlier, which is more ergonomic and improves the employees’ productivity.

There are also other sustainable solutions implemented at the Rimi logistics center: an ammonia and CO2 cooling system, adiabatic cooling at the dry product warehouse, a modern building control system and the DALI system which manages LED lighting.
